The Fender Champion 600 is a cracking little all tube amp, that looks great & doesn t cost a lot. The 5 watt output means that the clean sound starts to break up pretty early, but you do get some decent overdrive sounds at low volume. We added a higher-gain preamp circuit to let the overdriven tone exceed that of the original, and we added a choice of high- or low-gain inputs. Internal speaker jack enables use of a larger speaker cabinet.
